At present Brynach is attempting to raise funds for his masters. He is presently working as a live in carer to help raise funds, but is also applying for scholarships and searching for sponsors. In the hope of finding a sponsor he has been in touch with regional (The Tivy Side, Western Telegraph and Tenby Observer) and domestic papers (South Wales Echo, Western Mail and Golwg), which will be writing articles about him and his fund raising efforts.

This winter, he will be writing and directing a commercial for Al-Anon family groups, but presently he is working on three short films and one feature:

The first short film he is working on, is titled What Used to Be, and is the story of a couple living with Alzheimer’s. The husband who is one suffering from Alzheimer’s relives memories of an adulterous affair, while his wife questions her feelings of love and her sense of duty to her husband.

The second short film, titled The Erl-King, is an adaptation of a short story by a well known British author about a woman who falls in love with a mythic figure of the forest, who holds her and the animals of the forests under his spell.

The third short film he is working, titled I Camera, is about the process of making films and the creation of false idols.

The feature film idea he is working on, tells the tale of a group of surfers from Pembrokeshire, whose friendship is brought into question when one of them develops psychosis.
